THE
DIRECTOR OF
THE MODERN GREEK PHILOSOPHY RESEARCH CENTRE
Konstantinos Th. Petsios was born in Ioannina, where he completed his primary
and secondary education. He read Political Sciences in the Law
School of the University
of Athens, and Philosophy at the University of Ioannina. He studied at postgraduate
level at the University Bamberg in Germany and in 1993 he was named a Doctor of
Philosophy at the University
of Ioannina. His doctoral
dissertation, which attained a grade of “Excellent”, was titled “Philosophical concepts as argumentative
devices by the Attic orators”.
He is Associate Professor, in the field of History of Philoshophy : Ancient
and Modern Greek Philosophy.
